Psychological Professional Services, P.C. provides a comprehensive program of mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our staff has expertise in treating a wide variety of disorders and concerns including, but not limited to, depression and anxiety, behavioral management for child and adolescent disruptive behavior disorders such as ADHD, family therapy, eating disorders, presurgical psychological evaluations, substance use concerns, and comprehensive psychological assessments.

Our clinical team is comprised of fully licensed professionals with extensive experience and diverse therapeutic approaches to understanding the human condition. Whether working with individuals or families, our staff is committed not only to treatment and problem resolution, but also to client education and prevention strategies that support long-term wellness.

Understanding the demands on our clients’ schedules, we offer flexible options designed to meet individual needs. Services are available at multiple locations as well as through telehealth. We offer daytime, evening, and weekend appointments to ensure accessibility and convenience.

AREAS OF THERAPY

ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common childhood disorders and can continue through adolescence and adulthood. Symptoms include difficulty staying focused and paying attention, difficulty controlling behavior, and hyperactivity.

ANXIETY

Anxiety is a part of our everyday lives. Who is not nervous on the first day of school or a new job, speaking in public or walking down a dark street alone at night? In such situations, anxiety is helpful. It can make us more alert, and help us prepare – it can work for us.

DEPRESSION

Depression is a disturbance of mood and is characterized by a loss of interest or pleasure in normal everyday activities. People who are depressed may feel “down in the dumps” for weeks, months, or even years at a time.
